The state of Kansas currently produces 97,638 barrels of oil and 1.02 billion cubic feet of natural gas each day. Every barrel of oil and cubic foot of natural gas helps reduce our nation’s dependence on others. As technology advances, Kansas will produce a greater percentage of the energy our nation needs.
